Maine Maritime's Hazel Stoddard (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.
Stoddard had a monster week for the Mariners, tallying 23 goals, 25 draw controls, 15 ground balls, five assists, and five caused turnovers. In a 22-2 win over Centenary (N.J.), Stoddard recorded a game-high 12 goals and one assist, breaking the school record for goals and points in a single game and surpassing 100 career goals, while also tallying 11 draw controls, five ground balls, and one caused turnover. She followed up in a 13-3 win over Keystone with seven goals, five ground balls, four draw controls, three caused turnovers, and two assists. Stoddard ended the week with four goals, two assists, 10 draw controls, five ground balls, and one caused turnover in a 11-14 loss against Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.).
