Graduation rates in Washington County schools fell in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Maine Department of Education.

There were 169 students who received a diploma that year, which was 5.7% lower than the previous school year.

The students' performance is higher than the statewide average of 87.3% recorded at the time.

Washington County had the third highest graduation rate in the state.
