Maine Maritime women's lacrosse fell to the University of New England 4-16 in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon.
How it Happened: The University of New England came out strong, scoring within the first minute of action to spark a five-point quarter against the Mariners. Maine Maritime got on the board when Olivia Harriman (Orrington, Maine) found the back of the net to start the second quarter. UNE then scored two more goals in the quarter to make the score 7-1 going in the half.
Hazel Stoddard (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) and Kirra Magaña (Miami, Fla.) each scored a goal for the Mariners in the third quarter, while UNE scored four goals to extend their lead to seven. UNE scored five more goals in the fourth quarter as Stoddard scored one more for the Mariners to end the game at 16-4 in favor of UNE.

- Stoddard led the Mariners with two goals, four ground balls, four draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
