Maine Maritime's Connor Tuerff (Hendersonville, Tenn.) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week.
Tuerff tallied 36 points, six assists, three rebounds, and one block in the 2-0 week for Maine Maritime. In a 73-67 win against UMaine-Fort Kent, the first-year guard recorded 19 points, five rebounds, three rebounds, and one block. He followed up against Thomas College in a 81-76 conference win with 17 points, shooting 50% from the floor, while adding one assist.
