President Joan Ferrini-Mundy and Provost John Volin visited the UMaine Machias campus on March 8, 2022 for an open forum to discuss the regional campus initiative.
For over a year, members of the UMaine Machias and UMaine academic community have worked together in committees to prepare for this integration. An estimated 40 individuals from the Machias campus and local community came together in the Science building on the Machias campus, as well as via zoom, to discuss the final copy of the regional task force report.
