Of the 31,003 citizens living in Washington County in 2021, 80.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 25,006 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 12,261 were male, constituting 49%, and 12,745 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Washington County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 81.2%.
