With the retirement of former Chief Deputy Patrick Kane, the winds of change have begun to blow. Today at the Hancock County Commissioner's Meeting, Sheriff Scott Kane officially appointed Lt. Corey Bagley to the position of Chief Deputy. As part of the ceremony, the pinning of the badge by his wife Stacey is emblematic of Chief Deputy Bagley assuming his new role. Chief Deputy Bagley brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience to include Patrol Deputy, MDEA Special Agent, MDEA Supervisor and, more recently, Patrol Lieutenant.
