Tremont Engine 5, the newest member of the fleet meeting Engine 4 for the first time. Although these two engines have a handful of similarities, they are drastically different from one another. Engine 4 is our Flagship engine, capable of taking on structural fires and responding to accidents. Engine 5’s higher stature is more suited for bush/ wildfires and accessing emergency locations off the paved roads. The all-wheel drive chassis will easily navigate the dirt portions of Cape Road and Seal Cove Rd along with barreling down into the many local gravel pits. We’d even like to think it could rescue stuck horses from the mud flats.
Check back in over the next few weeks as we share more unique features of our apparatus.
