Down East Times

Of the 2,993 people living in Calais in 2019, 50.3 percent (1,505) were women and 49.7 percent (1,488) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Down East Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 857-to-854. In the 65 and over age range, there were 415 females and 335 males.
