Maine Maritime women’s basketball fell to Husson University 55-67 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matchup on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened: Husson got off to a quick 13-3 start on the Mariners in the first five minutes of the first quarter. Maine Maritime came back as the quarter went on, cutting the Eagles lead to four. The second quarter had a lot of back-and-forth action and the two teams were knotted at 26 going into the half.

Husson took control in the third quarter, taking a seven-point lead on the Mariners. Maine Maritime tried cutting into the Eagles lead, but they held on, taking a 67-55 victory.
