Maine Maritime men’s golf finished in 17th out of 17 teams in the McDaniel Spring Invitational.
How it Happened: Sophomore Brody Hathorne (Turner, Maine) led the Mariners with a score of 84, finishing tied for 69th place in a 90-man field. Senior Will Ducey (Savannah, Ga.) was close behind Hathorne finishing 72nd with a score of 85 and sophomore Jacob Parker (Holden, Maine) placed tied for 79th with a score of 88.
Sophomore Thomas Parker (Northport, Maine) placed tied for 83rd with a score of 91 and first-year Daniel O’Leary rounded out the Mariners with a score of 97, tying for 88th place.
Inside the Numbers: Gettysburg finished first with a score of 299 after winning a tiebreaker against Dickinson who placed second. Franklin & Marshall rounded out the top three with a score of 304. Patrick Kilcoyne was the low medalist with a score of 69 on the day.
