Maine Maritime’s Bess MacArthur (Castine, Maine) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Defensive Player of the Week.
 
MacArthur went 1-1 this week including a 1-0 win over UMaine-Presque Isle in their conference opener. The senior goalkeeper tallied ten saves in a 2-0 loss to Bates College and recorded two saves against the Owls to record her first shutout of the season. Overall on the week, MacArthur had a .857 save percentage.
