Maine Maritime’s Evelyn Dagan (Castine, Maine) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week.
Dagan recorded 15 points, two assists, two steals, and one rebound in 31 minutes over two games last week against NESCAC opponent Connecticut College and Ohio Athletic Conference powerhouse John Carroll University. Dagan netted 12 points against John Carroll, who were runners-up in last season’s OAC Tournament and reached the Second Round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship.
