Maine Maritime’s Rayelle Brewer (Cheyenne, Wyo.) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week.
Brewer helped lead the Mariners to a 107-85 victory over St. Joseph’s College (ME). Brewer set a team and pool record in the 100-yard butterfly with a first place finish of 1:03.52 and finished first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.84. She was also part of a relay team that finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:51.40.
