Katie Albritton (Hutto, Texas) stuffed the stat sheet today in the Mariners’ 3-0 victory against NVU-Johnson. The sophomore setter tallied a game-high 27 assists, five kills, three aces, one dig, and one block assist to send Maine Maritime to 2-0 in conference play.
How it Happened: The match was extremely competitive in the first set. The Badgers took a four point lead late in the set, before the Mariners went on a seven-point run to regain the lead and eventually win the set. Maine Maritime kept that momentum going in the second set, starting with a 6-0 lead over the Badgers and never looked back for an easy win. The third set consisted of more back-and-forth action before the Mariners went on an eight-point run, including three aces from Hunnie Zuber-Stephens (Lubbock, Texas), to create enough cushion to win the match 3-0.

- Albritton dished out a game-high 27 assists, five kills, three aces, one dig, and one block assist.
- Rachel Melampy (Duxbury, Mass.) had a game-high 14 kills, on .346 hitting and seven digs.

- Christina Betham tallied seven kills and Mason Lores dished out 10 assists for the Badgers.
