There was a single gas station in cities across Hancock County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $4.14 per gallon in the week ending Aug. 17, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Hancock County was $4.31 per gallon.
Of the 39 reported gas stations in cities within Hancock County, four offer premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in Maine was $4.34, compared to $4.37 the week before.
